Grimsthorpe Castle, located in Lincolnshire dates back as early as the 13th Century.

Sitting beautifully within a 3000 acre park, Grimsthorpe estates welcomes visitors during the summer months only.

You can join a tour of the castle, then head outside to an adventure playground for the children, followed by refuelling in the tea room.

Rockingham Castle is a former Royal castle sitting in Rockingham Forest.

This Castle, ordered to be constructed by William the Conqueror, dates back to the 11th Century.

There are a number of rooms open to visitors, aswell as a gift shop and tea room on site.

It is always worth checking their calendar when you visit, as they often hold Castle events.

Burghley House is one of the largest surviving Elizabethan houses of the 16th century and is located near Stamford, Lincolnshire.

A number of rooms are open to public viewing, you can then enjoy the on-site shops and cafe, before taking a stroll around the beautiful gardens.
